'Meet Maya' is designed to help people think about quality of life for people living with dementia, and ways of supporting cognition and brain health when living with a diagnosis of dementia.

There are some incredible initiatives across the country which enable people with dementia to live within their community safely and with available support, providing them with a better quality of life and sense of purpose, and enabling their loved ones in a caring role to feel more supported.

However, for many people living with dementia and their families, these initiatives are unknown to them, or not available in their area. The more awareness we have around activities to promote brain health and support a healthier life with dementia, and the more we encourage access to these activities, the greater the community around those affected by dementia, and the better everyone's quality of life can be.
