Dementia and… the Brain health clinic blueprint with Charlie Peel

The brain health clinic blueprint was developed by a group of healthcare professionals in 2021, and Charlie Peel, health writer at Neurology Academy, supported its development into both a clear concept and a practical tool.

In this video, she shares the minimal support for people with mild cognitive impairment which led to its inception and the importance of supporting people to optimise their brain health and modify their risk of developing dementia.

Providing a whistlestop tour through the tool for the blueprint, Charlie gives practical signposting for when and how the tool can be used to improve support for people with mild cognitive impairment and prevent, or slow, the onset of dementia.
