Dr Ger Mullan
Dr Ger Mullan is an Internal Medicine Trainee, and Visiting Scholar at Queen’s University Belfast, with a clinical and research interest in multiple sclerosis (MS). His academic work began during an intercalated research master’s degree investigating inflammasome-mediated remyelination, followed by an academic foundation placement studying immunoglobulin subclasses in post-mortem MS brain tissue. He later worked as a Clinical Fellow in MS, contributing to patient care and clinical research including the MS-STAT2 and ChariotMS trials. He is currently conducting a UK MS Register study examining the impact of clinical trial participation on patient-reported outcomes in MS. Ger has worked with the UK MS Pregnancy Interest Group to publish consensus guidance on IVF management in MS, and is a contributing author to the updated 2026 UK MS pregnancy guidelines.
