Dr Ciarán Trolan is a consultant geriatrician working at the Ulster Hospital since 2014. He completed training in geriatric and general internal medicine in Northern Ireland. He is the clinical lead for a movement disorder service in a district general hospital providing diagnostic and long-term care for people of all ages living with movement disorders and other neurodegenerative disorders associated with ageing. He has broad clinical experience in hyperacute stroke care, acute frailty, intermediate care bed-based rehabilitation, medicines optimisation and hospital at home. HIs training and experience brings the comprehensive geriatric assessment approach to provision of person-centred care.
