Dr. David Brodie-Mends is a neurologist at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, with a strong focus on movement disorders and stroke care. He currently leads the hospital’s Stroke Unit and has gained international clinical experience through training and academic engagements in the United States and India.

•He holds fellowships and memberships with the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. His professional development also includes training in global health research, EEG interpretation, biomedical imaging, and healthcare leadership.

•In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Brodie-Mends is actively involved in medical education, mentorship, and research, with interests in stroke imaging and Parkinson’s disease. He is a member of several international neurology organizations and has received recognition from bodies including the American Neurological Association and the West African College of Physicians.
