Dr. Grant Longwe is a physiotherapy technologist and dementia advocate based in Zambia. He earned his Diploma in Physiotherapy from the Lusaka Apex Medical University and currently serves as the Programs Director at Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias in Zambia (ADDIZ).

Grant provides personalized physiotherapy and dementia care, focusing on rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and quality of life for individuals with neurological, musculoskeletal, and age-related conditions through evidence-based and compassionate care.

He believes that we can advance brain health and reduce dementia's impact by fostering cross-sector collaboration, empowering communities through education and early interventions, and addressing the social determinants that contribute to brain health inequities.

Grant is leading dementia awareness campaigns, organizing community workshops and Walks to End Dementia, and engaging media and policy leaders to promote early diagnosis, reduce stigma, and improve brain health equity in under-resourced communities.
