Lara is a consultant neurologist in Kingston Upon Thames, where she is currently MS lead. She also undertakes an MS clinic at St George’s Hospital in London.

Lara studied medicine and did her medical training in Milan, Italy. She moved to the UK in 2005 for her PhD in neuroimmunology of the peripheral nervous system. In 2007 she moved to Nottingham to work in the neuroimmunology of MS. Her clinical interests include multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunological conditions.
