Dr Maruthi Vinjam is a Consultant Neurologist with a specialist interest in multiple sclerosis. He trained in neurology in Yorkshire, UK, and completed a post-CCT fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammation. He was appointed as a Consultant Neurologist in 2016.

Dr Vinjam works as part of a multidisciplinary MS team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, providing both local services for people with MS in Leeds and a tertiary MS treatment programme for West Yorkshire.

He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and serves as Principal Investigator for several ongoing commercial and non-commercial clinical trials at Leeds. He is also the Neurology Lead for the delivery of advanced cellular therapies at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
