Dr Rajen Shah is Consultant Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Lecturer (Merton Memory Service, Merton CMHT/HTT/Challenging Behaviour Service for Older People) at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust.

He studied medicine at Bart’s Medical School, and was awarded an MRC Scholarship to intercalate BSc in Psychology. He did postgraduate Psychiatry training on the St George’s schemes and was appointed Consultant Psychiatrist in 2002. He is currently joint Lead Old Age Psychiatrist within the Trust. Rajen has an interest in Postgraduate Education, having run the Regional MRCPsych Training Course for many years.
