Jo Baxter is Policy Manager at Alzheimer’s Society, where she has ten years’ experience working in the field of dementia. She leads Alzheimer’s Society’s policy work on dementia treatments, where her work currently focuses on system preparedness for new disease-modifying treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. She has led Alzheimer’s Society’s policy development in this area and policy activities including engaging with NICE appraisals for disease-modifying treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.

In her time at Alzheimer’s Society, Jo has previously worked on other policy areas of dementia diagnosis and social care. She also has a background working in marketing and communications.

Jo is passionate about developing evidence-based policy and using this to drive change for people living with dementia.
