Working at Hillingdon Hospital for over 3 years in both communication and swallow, but specialising in complex dysphagia, working with a range of complex conditions including but not limited to: Tracheostomy, critical care, Parkinson's disease, Dementia, Multisystems Atrophy, GBS, Multiple sclerosis, Huntington's Disease, Stroke, TBI, Muscular Dystrophies, Head and Neck Cancer, Learning Disability, Trauma, MND, Myasthenia Gravis. Working in an acute setting within a district general hospital, caseload primarily involves early intervention, facilitating symptom investigation, assessment and diagnosis as well as onward referrals to appropriate professionals and testing.
