Cathy Prescott is a member of the Neuromuscular team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. She has over 18 years’ experience in the NHS as a nurse. Joining the Walton centre in 2013, Cathy found her passion in caring for patients with neurological conditions. Cathy has been in her current position of Neuromuscular nurse since 2018. Her Role includes providing treatment, education, support and advice within the neuromuscular service.

Her specialist interests are CIDP and Myasthenia Gravis. She is chair of the newly formed group Inflammatory neuropathy nurse forum and a member of the BPNS. Cathy is due to complete her MSc in Advanced clinical practice at the end of 2024.
