Charlotte is the research and partnerships officer at myaware, the UK charity supporting those living with myasthenia. Charlotte has a bachelor’s degree in molecular Genetics and a pending PhD in RNA imaging. She has worked for myaware since October 2022 and supports their research programme and collaborations with external groups and healthcare professionals. Charlotte sits on the medical committee for myaware and helps deliver guidance and information to the newly diagnosed and those receiving treatment. Since the emergence of new therapeutics for myasthenia, Charlotte has worked to foster myaware’s relationships across the globe with other patient groups. Charlotte also attends myaware’s specialist nurse zoom calls to provide a listening ear and updates on NICE appraisals and medication shortages.
