Dr Stephen Keddie is a Consultant Neurologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and neuromuscular departmental lead, with specialist expertise in neuroimmunology, neurohaematology, and peripheral nerve disorders. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Keddie is actively involved in translational neuroscience research, with a particular interest in developing novel biomarkers and assays for peripheral nerve damage. His work has explored cutting-edge techniques including SIMOA, MSD platforms, and human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) models.A respected educator and frequent invited speaker, Dr Keddie regularly contributes to national neurology teaching programmes, specialist society meetings, and professional podcasts on topics spanning inflammatory neuropathies, neurodiagnostics, and emerging therapeutics. He also serves on the council of the British Peripheral Nerve Society, supporting education and clinical service development in the field.
