Mary Quirk's clinical background is predominantly in neurosciences, having worked at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital Foundation Trust. She has experience in both neurology and neuro-intensive care. Early in her career, she seized the opportunity to work in Australia and travel.

Since 2014, Mary has held the position of Neuromuscular Advanced Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on Myasthenia Gravis. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge. She has presented at both the British Association of Neuroscience Sciences and the European Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
