Prof. Suzanne Timmons is a clinical geriatrician, Professor of geriatric medicine, and programme director for the MSc in Older Person Rehabilitation and MSc in Dementia programmes in University College Cork. She runs a movement disorder service for older people with complex PD. She was the clinical lead for dementia health services in Ireland from 2017-2021. She is current and previous PI on numerous national projects and co-investigator on several international projects on Parkinson’s disease, dementia, delirium, and antipsychotic prescribing. Current PD research projects include tailored exercise prescription, wireless monitoring, and mapping of national service needs and performance.
