Data is at the heart of really understanding our population and its needs - data is what is happening, whilst audit is more likely to be why things are happening, and the two go hand in hand.
Data is one means of establishing the national and local picture in real terms, as one of the posters submitted demonstrates.
It is also often the route to digital and technological improvements, and the means of monitoring their efficacy, as two of the other poster submissions explored. This category of posters includes the winner of the overall poster competition - voted for as the best project showcased at the conference: the MyMedical Record.
