Christine Norton PhD MA RN is Professor of Clinical Nursing Research at King’s College London. She was also Nurse Consultant (Bowel Control) at St Mark’s Hospital in Harrow until she retired from the Health Service 5 years ago. Christine leads a programme of research on improving symptoms and quality of life in people with long term conditions, focusing primarily on gastrointestinal conditions such as faecal incontinence, constipation and inflammatory bowel disease.
