Charlie has been the National Specialty Lead for Children’s Neurosciences at NHS England for the last 8 years. He has been a Consultant focussing on child onset movement disorders at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital for over 25 years, working with the MDTs there to support children, young people and their families cope with co-morbidity, discomfort and the functional impact of neurological disability.

He has sat on numerous International working parties, published widely in this area, was chair and author of the NICE Cerebral Palsy guidelines for children and young people and subsequently advised the adult Cerebral Palsy guideline. He is now a Clinical Advisor to NICE.
