Declan Chard a Principal Clinical Research Associate at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. His main clinical and research focus is in multiple sclerosis (MS). His research uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to better understand the evolution of pathology in life, and how this translates into neurological and cognitive impairments. He undertakes this with a view to expediting the development of effective treatments, particularly for progressive MS, and providing people with MS with more robust and individualised prognostic information that can inform treatment choices.
