Dr Victoria Haunton
Dr Victoria Haunton is a Consultant Geriatrician and Honorary Associate Professor at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. She graduated from the University of Southampton in 2004 and was subsequently awarded an MD from the University of Leicester in 2014 for her work on cerebral autoregulation in Parkinson’s disease. She has ongoing research interests in cerebral haemodynamics and vascular mechanisms of cognitive decline. She has additional research interests in frailty factors and outcomes in surgical patients. Victoria is chair of the British Geriatrics Society (BGS) Movement Disorders Section and a working member of the Parkinson’s Excellence Network Evidence Based Practice Group. She is also an associate editor for Age and Ageing.
