Dr Fiona Chan

Dr Fiona Chan is a neurologist who completed her training in Australia through the Royal Australian College of Physicians. She has a strong interest in neuroimmunology and neuro-ophthalmology. She undertook a neuroimmunology fellowship in Sydney, New South Wales, with a focus on the management of myasthenia gravis patients requiring complex therapy. She is an ardent academic and her research into the treatment of myasthenia with Rituximab has been recognised with multiple accolades. Dr Chan is proactive in the myasthenia patient community working closely with the myasthenia gravis Australian Alliance. She has been an invited speaker at multiple patient-led conferences and participates in medical educational podcast sessions.

She is currently undertaking a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham to further expand her experience in the management of patients at the Neuroimmunology and Neuro-Ophthalmology interface.
