Hassan leads on digital health and data at the UK Department for International Trade (DIT), and owns the UK offer in the area. He matches the most innovative digital health firms in the UK to the biggest opportunities abroad liaising with Governments and other buyers. His background is in health and social care, specifically in social work, NHS informatics, public health and commissioning. He was a founding director, CIO and Chief Commercial Officer at Health iQ – a leading real world evidence agency based in the UK and spent many years consulting internationally with major pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Hassan is a regular contributor to PharmaField Magazine and now the World Health Journal. He currently holds a post as an Honorary Research Officer at Imperial College London for his work in Digital Health and Data Science and is also a Committee Member of the PM Society.
