With over 25 years’ experience in the NHS including Urology, Medicine and Critical care, Liam has worked as a Multiple Sclerosis (MS)Nurse specialist in Sheffield for the past 15 years. Liam is fortunate to work in a team of forward-thinking specialist nurses who all have unique and individual skills, making the service progressive and intuitive to the ever-changing nature of MS. They have developed several innovative and ground-breaking services which have improved the standards of care we offer. Liam has set up and lead on the MS/Urology service, which delivers robust pathway driven bladder and bowel care, what makes the service so special is the communication they have between Nurse and Consultant Urologist who understands the specialist care needed in managing MS patients with neurogenic bladder / Bowel issues this joined up thinking approach has allowed them to develop successful pathways to manage this complex patient group.
