Dr Michelle Horridge

Michelle is a public health registrar on the Yorkshire and Humber Training Scheme. Prior to joining the training programme, she underwent clinical training, completing basic surgical training plus time spent working as a paediatric surgical registrar. She was part of the Health Education England Future Leaders Programme 2019-20 where she completed a master's degree in education. She is the co-lead for Less Than Full Time Training on the Yorkshire and Humber Trainee Executive Forum.

Michelle has undertaken placements in local authority, UK Health Security Agency, NHS England Specialised Commissioning and completed her master's degree in public health. She is currently on placement at Humber and North Yorkshire ICB, working within the population health and prevention team on strategy development and cross risk factors. She has published and presented work nationally and internationally.
