Nicholas Boxall is a Consultant Urologist based at both the Princess Royal Spinal Cord Injuries Centre (where he is Research Lead) and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. Nick graduated from Manchester Medical School, having taken an intercalated BSc at UCL in Orthopaedic Science based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore for which he was awarded 1st Class Honours.

Nick started his postgraduate career as an Academic Foundation Doctor in Sheffield and undertook a PGCert in Medical Education as part of this. He has then trained across South Yorkshire, Salford, and the East of England.

During his training, he had multiple roles at a national level including being Chair of BSoT(British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) Section of Trainees) and on the ASiT(Association of Surgeons in Training) Council. Nick continues to provide educational roles at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels nationally and locally.

Nick's subspecialty interests include neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction, recurrent and chronic urinary tract infections, reconstructive urology, and voiding dysfunction.
