Emma Wolverson is a clinical psychologist, a Professor of Ageing and Dementia at the University of West London and Research Lead at the Charity Dementia UK. Emma’s research focuses on times when people with dementia and their families need more support, such as during a mental health crisis or at end of life.

Emma is the co-lead of the EMPOWER Dementia Network Plus, a network of people with dementia, family carers, researchers, health care providers and charities working to promote excellent and inclusive care in dementia. Emma is also the PI for the FIND ME study an NIHR funded study exploring how mental health wards can work in partnership with families to ensure better care for people with dementia.
