Susan has been a clinical hospital pharmacist for over 20 years, with over 10 years’ experience as a specialist paediatric pharmacist. Having had a keen interest in paediatric neurology for a number of years Susan took up the newly created post of Neurosciences Pharmacist at Sheffield Children's Hospital in July 2022. She now leads the development of pharmacy services to the neurology and neurosurgical teams. Clinical specialities include neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy, neurodisability and neurosurgery. She works closely with the neuromuscular team at Sheffield Childrens Hospital to coordinate the delivery of the newly available drug treatments for SMA, including gene therapy.
