ECTRIMs: a brief review

09 Dec 2022

ECTRIMs this year was full of enthusiasm and renewed energy, not least due to being the first live MS-related international conference in some time!

Our health writer interviewed MS Academy faculty members Dr Kate Petherham and Ruth Stross to find out their retrospective thoughts and take home messages from the conference.

In closing, Ruth mentions a few resources that healthcare professionals might find useful to direct their patients to, should they be interested in the messages at ECTRIMs or looking for a deeper understanding of their MS and the research and service planning that impacts their future. MStranslate and the MS International Federation are both linked here for ease of access.

Encouraging excellence, developing leaders, inspiring change

MS Academy was established five years ago and in that time has accomplished a huge amount. The six different levels of specialist MS training are dedicated to case-based learning and practical application of cutting edge research. Home to national programme Raising the Bar and the fantastic workstream content it is producing, this is an exciting Academy to belong to.
