Anusha graduated in 2008 with a MSc. in Pharmacy from Kings College London. She then completed a Diploma in Medicines Management from the London School of Pharmacy. Current roles are split between an Embedded Pharmacist for NHS England, a High Cost Drugs Pharmacist for the local CCG and Regional Homecare Lead for Trusts in the East Midlands. This role involves reviewing new homecare services for England prior to launch and approving Service Level Agreements for her regional Trusts. The role also includes being a member of three MDTs, advising on treatment options, pathway design and patient eligibility.

In addition:

  • Anusha chairs the Regional Homecare Group for the East Midlands & is a member of the National Homecare Medicines Committee (NHMC)
  • Has worked at a regional and national level to support optimal treatment of dermatological conditions & Chairs the recently formed National Specialist Dermatology Pharmacist Network
  • Acts as Chair for her Trust New Medicines and Formulary Group
