Dr Gemma Cummins
Dr Gemma Cummins is a Consultant Neurologist at Greater Manchester Neurosciences Centre, Salford. She completed a post CCT Senior Clinical Fellowship in Movement Disorders at The Bristol Brain Centre, and is interested in advanced Parkinson’s disease therapies. She graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She subsequently worked as a neurology house officer in Ireland and New Zealand before completing a one year post as a clinical lecturer and registrar in the Dublin Neurological Institute. She completed her specialty neurology training in the East of England deanery working in Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery London and Queen’s Hospital Essex. Her research in Cambridge focused on the cognitive and neuropsychiatric aspects of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
