Dr Richard Wyse is Director of Research and Development at The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, leading CPT’s pre-clinical and clinical research programmes. The International Linked Clinical Trials programme is his brainchild. The International Linked Clinical Trials Committee annually prioritises dossiers of potentially disease modifying compounds identifying which of these could move into clinical trials involving people living with Parkinson’s. Richard is involved in trial design and facilitates the development of this programme in the US, Australia, UK and mainland Europe. As a result of his efforts six LCT drugs have recently or are being trialled in the UK.
