Lee has worked in the NHS for 26 years, specialising as a neurological physiotherapist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield for the past 23 years. Lee has worked closely with the neurological consultants and MS nurses, providing input into the MS clinics and outpatient physiotherapy rehabilitation for MS patients.

Lee was also part of the "Physio 4 FMD" trial lead from St George's Hospital, London and was responsible for providing the treatment arm of this study in line with the study protocol. His experience of treating both MS patients and FND patients has provided Lee with particular insight into physiotherapy treatment for patients diagnosed with both MS and FND.
