Rachael Marsden
After qualifying in 1987, Rachael Marsden became a Primary Nurse in a Young Disabled Unit. She worked there for 16 years & gained a great deal of experience in the care & management of young people with highly complex disabilities. This gave Rachael the perfect background to become the Motor Neurone Disease Care Centre Coordinator for the Oxford Care Centre in 2002. The Centre has developed in so many ways over the past 20 years it is now one of the largest MND care & research centres in the UK. Having completed a Degree and Masters in Rehabilitation, Rachael is now an Independent Practitioner & Consultant Nurse coordinating the care of people living with MND.
When Rachael is not working, she is normally cycling. She currently holds the World Record for being the fastest Women to Circumnavigate the globe on a tandem (tandemwow)
