acnr-coverParkinson's Academy has collaborated with Advances in Clinical Neuroscience & Rehabilitation (ACNR) to produce a special Australian & New Zealand (ANZ) e-newsletter.The e-newsletter is focused on highlighting the ANZ content that has been published in ACNR, and to publicise local stories and projects of interest to ANZ neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroscientists, geriatricians, rehabilitation physicians and allied health workers. This edition features articles by MasterClass participants from ANZ about their local services, including Parkinson's Academy project winner Dr Kate Scott for her work entitled “Knowing our own business” which created a Map of Services of her older adults Parkinson’s service in New Zealand. And Dr Chandrasekhara Padmakumar explains how attending the MasterClass laid the foundation for setting up his own Parkinson's service at the John Hunter Hospital in Australia. With so much interest in Parkinson's Academy from a number of health professionals in Australia and New Zealand, we are exploring the possibility of bringing the Academy to Australasia with a course custom-made for local ANZ needs. If you would be interested in participating, or perhaps supporting with sponsorship, we would be very glad to hear from you.ACNR is a peer-reviewed, fully open access journal, which for the last 16 years has specialised in publishing short reviews on neurology and clinical neuroscience topics. ACNR is published online and in print four times per year and does not charge contributors. It is distributed free to 4,300 UK readers – including all members of the Association of British Neurologists, plus allied healthcare professionals – making it one of the most widely read neurology journals in the UK.Read the special edition Australia & New Zealand e-newsletter in full, click here
