Brighton to Barcelona for Parkinson's
NewsA team of 20 people from across the globe, nine of whom live with Parkinson's, are all cycling the 994 miles from Brighton to Barcelona where they will attend the World Parkinson's Congress.
The team is led by Alison Anderson, who has been cycling various long distances to raise awareness of Parkinson's and support funding to find a cure, and intends to tag a 'warm up' 140 miles onto the cycle by heading to Brighton's start line on her bicycle from her hometown of Cheltenham.
Alison, who is also a speaker on our Parkinson's Advanced MasterClass, is raising funds for UK charity Cure Parkinson's. We wish her and her team all the best for their long journey!
