New Academy for epilepsy is launched!

We are delighted to be launching a brand new Academy today, accompanied by a suite of free educational resources.

Epilepsy Academy has been created to raise awareness of epilepsy, equipping professionals to deliver compassionate, holistic care that transforms people's lives. Put succinctly by Managing Director Sarah Gillett,

Epilepsy is a condition which already features in our Neuropharmacy Academy content and has been discussed in our past Neurology Network Manager's Meetings.

Bringing together some of this previously developed content, alongside a few new interviews with experts in the field, Epilepsy Academy is offering open access education across a range of topics from pregnancy in epilepsy to lived experiences, service planning to medication management.

We hope that this initial series, Epilepsy Bitesize, will begin to expand professional understanding, and will provide a firm foundation for those working in neurology to feel confident as they support people living with epilepsy to live their best lives.
