Parkinson's Foundation 4: on-demand
This is a fully virtual course including 10 on demand sessions. Delegates will be able to access sessions, presentation slides and other resources for 12 months after registration with their website account.
This course will give you a strong grounding in Parkinson's diagnosis, treatment and management. Designed and delivered by eminent Parkinson's specialists across a variety of health disciplines, the sessions draw on a mixture of frontline experience, the latest evidence bases and cutting edge research.
Our Parkinson's Foundation MasterClass has been running in-person for 20 years. Whilst missing the connectivity of face-to-face learning, this virtual on demand version opens up the learning opportunity to those for whom travel or study leave is a barrier. If you are unable to attend an in-person course, yet are keen to improve your personal practice and enhance your local services, sign up now.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone looking to improve their understanding of Parkinson's and perfectly suited to the whole multidisciplinary team, particularly those in the early years of their practice or new to Parkinson's.
Whether you're a registrar or early-career consultant, specialist nurse, therapist, pharmacist or other allied healthcare professional, if you're keen to improve your practice and your patient's experiences, you'll find this education beneficial.
How is the course taught?
The fully virtual course is accessed in the delegates' own time via our designated online learning portal. The 10 virtual sessions are all available at once, meaning you can give yourself a solid weekend of learning or spread the course out over weeks or even months, if needed. You can choose the access that optimises your learning experience and fits with your other commitments.
Delegates are supported with additional papers, tools and resources shared online as well, each individual will be equipped to complete the course in the way that Delegates will be able to access the course resources for 12 months after registration with their website account.
When you finish the course, you will receive a certificate of completion to add to your portfolio.
'The lecturers were very professional and easy to listen to. The quality of the videos was excellent, I felt like I was in the room.'
'Best thing was I could pace myself in learning all the lectures online and see patients while still learning - which made the learning journey more fruitful than a conventional 1-2 day course. Thank you.'
