Course overview:
A virtual Professional Development MasterClass aimed at strengthening the capacity of healthcare professionals in Africa to understand, diagnose, and manage dementia. The course blends live sessions with self-paced learning to enhance knowledge, practical skills, and support improvements in dementia care and clinical practice.
Aims & Objectives: To establish an Ireland-Africa dementia education collaboration to adapt a successful dementia training for the African context to;
Enhance knowledge, awareness and practice (KAP) for dementia among healthcare professionals in Africa.
Encourage clinical service improvement for dementia diagnosis, care and management.
