Dr Tom Mace
Dr Tom Mace is a consultant physician in elderly medicine with a specialist interest in Parkinson’s and related disorders at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He graduated from University of Sheffield Medical school and completed postgraduate training in the Yorkshire Deanery. He is a graduate of both the Foundation and Advanced Parkinson’s Academy MasterClass and was awarded the Parkinson’s Project Winner award in 2019.
He is the clinical lead for the Parkinson’s Hub in Kingston-Upon-Hull. This is an integrated care pathway for patients living with Parkinson’s and frailty or complex symptoms and was selected as the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network Award winner for both Innovation in Practice and Winner of winners 2021. He sits on the Parkinson’s UK Steering Group for MDT-Led Care and is a co-chair for Yorkshire’s Parkinson’s Excellence Network Branch.
