Dr Lara Teare undertook her undergraduate training at the University of Bristol. She worked in the Southwest and New Zealand before completing her MD at the University of Plymouth. She moved back to the West Midlands for her specialist training in neurology before becoming a consultant in 2010. She is clinical lead for neurology at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire where she specialises in movement disorders and is a member of the Coventry and Warwickshire regional Parkinson’s disease team.
