Neurology Academy Christmas newsletter 2020

News

I can’t believe it’s that time of year again – where has this year gone? And what a year – there have been some huge changes to our educational programme here at Neurology Academy, with thousands of you joining us via webinars, online MasterClasses and virtual conferences. This year we were quick to adapt our delivery methods to align with Covid guidelines, and as a result were able to deliver over 50 webinars, 3 virtual national meetings and 12 MasterClasses.

Thank-you to all our wonderful faculty and speakers, and to each of you, for making this shift so seamless. This newsletter covers a number of those events’ highlights, as well as sharing some of the wonderful, award-winning projects that many of you are still forging ahead with, and offering a spattering of the data evidence and new research which has come out this year across neurology.

Our thoughts have been with Gavin Giovannoni, Academic Director of MS Academy, after he sustained terrible injuries in an accident earlier this month. However, nothing can keep him down for long – he’s already back on the BartsMS blog and has an update for us too!

The new year will bring with it a new look to our website and new bespoke functionality for your online learning. The new site’s release has been delayed due to the volume of activity we’ve delivered during the pandemic – our external website developers have struggled to keep up! – but we’re excited to show you the new online learning zone in January. All that remains is for me to wish you a very merry Christmas – we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
