The workplace project – putting learning into practice

We want our education to be impactful, transforming an individual's practice - and through that, the team or service they work within. Intermodule projects are a core part of the education we offer, providing an opportunity to reinforce learning, test new knowledge and skills and improve local services.

Attendees have free reign over their project which must meet a local need, and they present their work back to their peers at module two of the course, and the class chooses a winning project.

We believe that one of the best ways to learn something is from others who have already learned it. We'd encourage you to have a look through the extensive 'back catalogue' of previous projects to find one addressing a similar need to the one in your area, or to learn how others have overcome obstacles you might face.

'Workplace projects give a space for the MasterClass's challenging learning outcomes to change things at a grassroots level and then to keep changing them - and this is what makes a difference to people with Parkinson’s.’
Dr Peter Fletcher, academic director emeritus, Parkinson's Academy
