Our more in-depth course, this MasterClass covers residential training from a varied array of experts specialising in anything from atypical presentations to cutting edge treatments, a new take on palliative care to groundbreaking service redesign and delivery. Practical learning alongside mentorship and an ongoing research project of your choice to conduct locally, this is the course for those looking to really deepen their specialism and optimise their practice. If you are a general or non-prescribing neurologist, a registrar looking to develop a specialism, a pharmacist or more senior clinical nurse specialist (CNS), this course is a must.

These courses are for neurologists who are currently prescribing, experienced MS nurses, final year registrars and pharmacists who may be working in a unit that prescribes MS therapies who want to increase or update their knowledge & belong to a network of MSologists. The course will advance understanding of MS through taught sessions and mentorship (a mentor will be appointed for each participant if required).

CPD accreditation

‘Multiple Sclerosis Intermediate MasterClass 11’ has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 30 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s). Full conditions of approval are listed in our guidelines. 12 External credits may be claimed for an MSc or equivalent activity.

Module 2

To complete the course delegates must return for module 2 where they will present their inter-module project/audit to the Academy.

The course is fully funded including a travel allowance for clinicians practising in the UK for both modules. There will be a £100 deposit required to secure your place, this will be invoiced to you upon confirmation. This deposit will be refunded within 30 days of you completing both modules of the course. Failure to attend or if you should cancel less than 8 weeks of the course commencement date this will result in the charge of £100.
