Objectives and unmet need:

Cutting Edge Science for Multiple Sclerosis brings together leading UK MS experts to explore the most challenging and controversial questions in contemporary MS care. Through a unique, debate-led format, the meeting examines how emerging science is reshaping diagnosis, monitoring, treatment selection, and long-term management across the MS pathway.

Over two days, clinicians will engage with evidence-based arguments for and against key clinical propositions, spanning genetic risk and diagnostic criteria, imaging strategies, treatment switching and biosimilars, menopause, respiratory assessment, high-efficacy therapies, and future approaches including CAR-T cell therapy.

The meeting will bring together consultants, specialist nurses, neuroscience pharmacists and specialist therapists to examine the latest evidence, share clinical experience, and address the real-world challenges faced by MS teams within the NHS. Designed to be both informative and interactive, this debate-led meeting focuses on translating cutting-edge science into practical, real-world decision-making within the NHS.
