The Parkinson's Advanced MasterClass on demand is specifically designed to further the knowledge and skillset of those who already have an understanding of Parkinson's diagnosis, treatment and management. Constantly updated to provide engaging teaching encompassing the latest research, policy and best practice, this practical, in-depth and case-based learning will move participants from 'knowledgeable' to 'expert'.
This on-demand course also features bonus sessions from our Parkinson's Cutting Edge conference last year, a selection of webinars focused on remote management, and a panel discussion unpicking ethical dilemmas and nuanced real-life cases.

Who is this course for?
This on-demand course is particularly intended to give opportunities for learning to those who can't access our in-person courses, whether due to working overseas or caring responsibilities.
The Advanced MasterClass is designed for consultants in elderly medicine, neurology or old age psychiatry, final year registrars, experienced Parkinson’s nurses, GPwERs, experienced neurosciences pharmacists, associate specialists and staff grade physicians.
What will the course involve?
This fully virtual course comprises 19 on-demand sessions delivered by practicing experts from across the spectrum of research, care and treatment required in optimal management of Parkinson's.
From setting up a service to utilising everyone in your team; improving diagnostic skills to managing neuropsychiatric issues; complex drugs management to inpatient care - this packed programme explores Parkinson's in all its variety and nuance. Digging into challenges and examining experiences through the core aspects of Parkinson's diagnosis, treatment and management, this course provides a very practical understanding of how to tailor provision to each individuals' needs.
The course also offers bonus sessions from our 2022 Parkinson's Cutting Edge Science conference, whilst extensive signposting to other relevant material such as remote management of Parkinson's, and a plethora of other resources and reading further enhance delegates' learning experience.
How is the course taught?
The fully virtual course is accessed in the delegates' own time via our designated online learning portal. The virtual sessions can be completed in a time frame and style that best suits each learner, whether compressed into a few days of concentrated learning, or spread out across several weeks or even months.
With supporting papers, tools, and resources shared online as well, each individual will be equipped to complete the course in the way that both optimises their learning experience and fits with their other commitments.
Upon completion of all sessions you will also receive a certificate to add to your portfolio.
